I bought this pen purely for the Susuwatari design and I am surprised how much I like it. Nice heft, pleasing "click" from the knock, and the ink is excellent. I thought the 0.38mm refill might be too small, but I love it - great for very precise work.

BONUS: I am reasonably sure that the refills will fit Sakura Craft Lab pens if you cut them to the proper length, allowing you to use blue ink and sizes other than 0.5mm in those wonderful pens. I'll be giving this a try.

I like how it feels and writes. Needed a small pen for a small planner. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that even though the ink was dried, my Japanese highlighters still smudged the ink slightly. My other pens don't smudge.

Love the pen body. Perfect and subtle design that brings me joy. The .38 was way too scratchy for me personally, but this was an easy fix to make. I just ordered a .5 mm refill when I ordered this, figuring it would probably feel like that. I tend to prefer thicker lines, but this ink is a smooshy dream even at .5 mm so I don't find myself missing .7 mm pens at all! Just keep your preferences in mind when looking at this pen and order a refill if you think you might prefer it!

Very sturdy pen body and the ink writes smoothly. The soot sprites are adorable, but subtle. If you are looking for a way to sneak some individuality into a more traditional office setting, this pen would be ideal. Take note of the tip size though as it may be too fine for some.
