These pens are absolutely incredible, I have been waiting for something like this to be on the market for years! So many gel pens that write over black are either neon or pastel, it's been nearly impossible to find a set of classic colors. And the quality is fantastic! They're super opaque and vibrant. They're also really juicy right out of the box, no scribbling needed. That first swipe is immediately perfect.

A couple of tips: Give them plenty of time to dry, they're a little lighter dry vs when they're wet. Also, if you need to go in for a second layer to cover any bald patches or any missing spots, use a very very light touch- try almost "floating" the pen over the top with zero pressure, just contact with the surface. If you use pressure you might end up scraping off a bit of the base layer.

I'm immediately wishlisting these again for the next time I buy from JetPens. I tend to use up my gel pens and I want to make sure I have backups ready to go!

These are very unique pens with a thick, matte stroke. They do tend to smudge so they're not ideal for every day writing but great for projects or arts and crafts.

Writing experience is fairly smooth. Coverage is adequate. I put them at average because the wide ball and the smoothness makes the experience...average.

All good things take time... like the drying time on these vibrant pens. They're so beautiful. I intended on ordering them as a present and ended up keeping them for myself since they were so beautiful. I'll make sure to re-purchase.

As advertised! These pens have very nice colors and are BRIGHT on deep-colored papers. I am glad I went for the full set.
